Custom Fabrication to Meet Specific Customer Requirements Our Process Over 95% of the product manufactured by Universal Wire is custom product designed and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. The process of the design and manufacture of the product follows the steps listed below— 1. In conversation with the customer, we jointly determine the display requirements. These requirements include the display type and its dimensions, as well as the product size and packaging the display will showcase. The stock (wire gauge) to be used and the finish the customer desires (plating, powder coat, color, etc.) are also part of the product specifications. There is a nominal charge for construction and shipping of the prototype. 2. We build an exact prototype (sample) to meet customer specification and ship the prototype to the customer for final approval. 3. The customer approves the sample in writing to authorize production.
